Jesse James a dj of diverse qualities..
From the tender age of 17, he has rocked dancefloors across the globe. His first break being made the resident of the house & garage arena at the now infamous, Lazerdrome. A club voted no1 for two years running. From here he would be booked to play at other large scale events all over london.
In 1994 armed with just a backpack and a box of his favorite tunes jesse james traveled to Australia where things really took off. He linked up with Sydney's top promoters & dj's and was soon a regular on every major clubs flyers. One special memory that springs to mind is playing to 1000's of mad brits on Bondi beach, Christmas day, alongside Carl Cox & hero Sasha.
On returning to the U.K things didn't slow down, whilst dj'ing and promoting his own small events around the capital, Jesse was asked to join London's no1 pirate radio station - Upfront 99.3 fm. Jesse James held down his now legendary show 'the Saturday session' for 6 happy years, as one of the premier & most popular dj's from the station Jesse would represent upfront fm all over the uk & Europe. Jesse James took his sound ( always opting for the soulful house & garage - whilst others would offer darker sets ) to clubs such as: Cafe De Paris, Camden Palais, Club Colleseum, The Temple, The Mayfair club, The Emporium, Mai Tai, Stringfellows, Legends, Charlie Chans, Delano's, Nylon, Meantimes, Gracelands, Bagleys, Turnmills, The Glasshouse, Fusion, Zap club, The Rex, K Bar, Gardening Club, The Sanctuary, The Ocean rooms. The list goes on! Jesse has graced the decks in many country's including All over Australia, Singapore, Ibiza, Mallorca, Holland, & Germany. Today Jesse James' set will comprise of funky and U.S house along with some monster old skool anthems. Jesse also works for Pinnacle records, in their dance department. Jesse James is a guaranteed crowd pleaser, and has always, always been asked back to play when playing somewhere new!
