DJ Efabulous grew up in the heart of Chicago's original House scene. Nurtured from the very beginning by the SOULFUL beats of this musical genre, she quickly acquired the desire to spin her own sets. Interestingly enough, though, she waited until she left the place that originally fueled her passion before she aggressively pursued her desire to be a DJ.
It was in New York City where Efabulous finally polished up her skills from an accomplished DJ named Afronaut. And what kind of music does she spin? Classic House /Afro-Beats/Funk and R&B dance remixes. Her talent behind the decks has led to much success.
DJ Efabulous' curriculum vitae includes such hip New York venues as Opener du Jour @ Glass, Foreplay Fridays @ NOCA, The Warmup @ Recess, Kool-Aid @ Bar XVI, guest appearances at the famous Mixed Tape Sessions @ Halcyon in Brooklyn, along with several others. Overseas assignments have included appearances for the Kinky People dance parties in Ghent, Belgium and Procreation Music at the Liquid Lounge in Birmingham, UK. Currently, DJ Efabulous has left New York to pursue a more international presence as an American DJ in the United Kingdom.
