Inspectah Deck

Inspectah Deck is both an MC and producer and was even a graff artist in his youth.Known as the quiet, watchful member of the group (hence the first part of his name).
Inspectah was born in Brooklyn, but like most Wu-Tang members he spent the majority of his young life in Staten Island.
While he may not be the most recognizable member of the group he did play a significant role in the first Wu-Tang album. He has also featured on various releases by members of the group but received most props for his work on Raekwon's, "Cuban Links" and Genius "Liquid Swords".
He was set to release a solo joint in 95 but this was postponed (indefinitely). We had to wait quite a while before we saw his solo album but in 1998 it finally came. "Uncontrolled Substance" featured a lot of Wu affiliated MC's if not the core rappers, and was also produced by Deck. While some claimed the lack of production from RZA meant this was not all that good an album, for the most part the Hip Hop world liked what Deck bought to the table. Inspectah Deck is probably one of the most under-rated members on The Wu-Tang Clan....
